A rewarding way to support to support your local community
Money raised through the Unity Lottery is distributed by the Three Rivers Community Partnership to good causes in Gillingham and surrounding parishes.
£21,850 has been raised since 2009.
50% of the money raised is distributed to local projects through a community grant and the other 50% is put aside for the Community Hall fund. To date, £15,000 has been raised to build a new Community Hall for the town.
Projects supported with money raised by the Lottery include RiversMeet Leisure Centre, Gillingham Town Meadow Refurbishment project, NorDISS, East Stour Village Planting Scheme, Gillingham Job Club, Gillingham Area Easy Read project and the Motcombe Cycleway.
