Glamis Hall for All

Glamis Hall is a community centre in Wellingborough managed by local volunteers who took it over in 2015 from the local Council. It provides a friendly, affordable Day Centre & Lunch Club five days per week for people over 50 who have become socially isolated or need some support to enable them to stay living in their own homes. Clients enjoy a nutritious 3-course meal cooked on the premises, activities to stimulate their mental and physical wellbeing and regular entertainment. There is a hairdresser on site and a visiting podiatrist and beautician.

Glamis Hall is not just for older people. It runs activities for young people such as GLJ Theatre on Mondays and Youth & Football clubs on Thursdays during term-time. The resident chef runs cookery courses for four times a year and there is a programme of activities during school holidays. The two highlights of the year for children are the popular Family Festival held annually on the first Saturday of the summer holidays and the Christmas Festival held on the first Saturday in December where the children have an opportunity to visit Santa Claus.

Glamis Hall is a Registered Charity (Number 1160317).
