Queen Elizabeth's Foundation for Disabled People (QEF) is a national disability charity with more than 80 years' experience of developing innovative services which enable and support children and adults to increase their independence and improve their opportunities for life.
You can view our video My Life Now, and hear Karen tell the story of how we helped her to achieve her goals. Matt and Yvonne also tell their stories and you will melt when you see Max driving his Bugzi.
At QEF we are determined to provide practical, caring and innovative solutions to enable people, whatever their disability, to live their lives to the fullest extent possible.
QEF Independent Living Services
Following our extensive building programme and the opening of the new Guinness Group Home we have been able to build on our success and momentum to achieve full occupancy and increase our capacity to 45 residents.
QEF Mobility Services
As well as developing our Bugzi Loan Service and Tryb4uFly Assessments we carry out more than 1,000 mobility assessments a year.
QEF Neuro Rehabilitation Services
At our Brain Injury Centre in Banstead Place we provide individually tailored neuro rehabilitation programmes of rehabilitation for people whose lives have been devastated by traumatic brain injury.
The generosity of our friends and supporters and the hard work of our staff and volunteers is crucial.
