The Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs provides outstanding, sessional nursery care and education to children with special needs aged between birth and 5 years old. We also aim to provide much needed support to parents of children with special needs from birth onwards when no state provision is available and parents often feel at their most vulnerable.
Peter Pan Nursery for Children with Special Needs was established in 1969 and since then, the nursery has continued to thrive.
We are unique within the area and provide early intervention to children in a warm, stimulating environment with fully qualified and experienced staff. The nursery cares for children from Stoke on Trent, Newcastle under Lyme, Cheshire and surrounding areas. The children have a wide range of disabilities, conditions and syndromes, such as Cerebral Palsy, Down syndrome, Autism, Visual and Hearing Impairments, Physical delays and Speech and Language delays.
As a registered Charity (number 1136915) we are over 90% funded by donations. Currently it costs around £250,000 a year to run this nursery. We would not be able to provide this support and care we do without the help and ongoing support of the local community.
