At Canterbury Oast Trust (COT), we support adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, more independent lives.
Founded by a group of determined parents in 1985, our charity now supports over 140 individuals in Kent through a range of person-centred services. From round-the-clock registered care to supported living and skills-based training, every part of what we do is about giving people the opportunity to live life on their own terms.
Your donation helps provide:
- Safe, homely environments for people with complex care needs
- Supported living services that encourage independence
- Life-changing training in areas like cooking, horticulture, customer service, animal care, and more
- Confidence-building experiences through our Rare Breeds Centre – a working farm and visitor attraction that doubles as a hands-on learning space
- Unique conservation and creative opportunities at the Rare Breeds Centre and our ancient woodland, Poulton Wood
Every activity, every lesson, and every bit of support helps someone grow in confidence, gain real skills, and feel part of a community that values them.
