Stockdales is a registered charity with nearly 60 years experience of caring for and supporting children and adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs.

We currently operate a variety of services including four residential homes in Sale, Cheshire and a thriving activity and educationally focused Lifeskills programme.

Stockdales offers opportunities, excitement and new experiences that allow people to live a life as full, dignified and diverse as possible; a place where those whom we support can make their mark in the world and be valued as full and equal members of society.

We are constantly developing and expanding our services so that we can reach even more people with disabilities. In addition to providing residential support and short breaks, we also offer Lifeskills at Stockdales. This service is dynamic and innovative and through a creative and interactive timetable provides educational, recreational and social opportunities for young people and adults with learning disabilities in the local community.

Lifeskills members and students can choose a personalised programme of activities including learning independent living skills, sports, arts, crafts, dance, drama, IT, literacy and numeracy to name but a few. There is a full range of sensory experiences available including relaxation, massage, reflexology, music and cookery. We coordinate a full range of social events including weekly clubs, weekend trips and holidays. We also enjoy the great outdoors via our conservation and allotment work and Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

We aim to raise over £200,000 per year to help pay for the development of our services, specialist equipment, transport, activities and holidays. By supporting Stockdales through our lottery, you will be helping us to continue making a huge difference.
