Mexborough Community Partnership
MCP is a community focused organisation dedicated to making positive change in our community with the support of Mexborough people who are also dedicated to positive change. We hold annual community events to bring the community together and help the community further by providing free community based educational courses.
Mexborough Community Partnership came into being with the adoption of its constitution in September 1999 that gave MCP Unincorporated status. Since this point, the Partnership has developed in terms of structure, capacity and responsibilities that have meant that the legal structure of the organisation has had to be reassessed in order to fully reflect this progress.
Since the partnership is now becoming a respected and valued part of the community, we have teamed up with Doncaster Borough Council to help bring Mexborough community together and work, live and be as one.
Our community flower planting and display work has won us a silver prize for the past three years in the flowers in bloom awards, and in 2008 we were awarded a silver guild certificate for our hard work and dedication.
As well as the above, MCP offer the community the following annual events each and every year. This is to strengthen the links already made and established within Mexborough.
