Fairplay is a registered children's charity that supports children and young people with additional needs and disabilities throughout North Derbyshire.
Support is offered to children and young people through various activities including playschemes, youth groups and family trips.
Fairplay requires funding in order to build and sustain a new centre where the administration of the charity can be based and many of the activities will be held.
The new centre is to be based in Chesterfield and will provide Fairplay with the necessary facilities in order to run many of its existing groups. These include play facilities for children, support for children with complex health care needs, provision for a young women's group, meeting space for parents and training opportunities for volunteers who give up their time to support Fairplay, the centre will provide them with an excellent base.
The centre will also have a sensory room and garden, a wonderful outdoor play area and library as well as a communal seating area and coffee lounge.
Training opportunities will be offered from the centre for Fairplay members as well as the local community. Many of the activities will be fully inclusive and open to members from all over North Derbyshire.
