Cleckheaton Sports Club was founded in 1972 from the amalgamation of the rugby union, cricket and crown green bowling clubs that play at the Moorend grounds.

The bowling club is one of the most respected in West Yorkshire running nearly 30 teams each week providing sporting opportunities for all ages and genders.

The cricket club compete in the Bradford League first division, one of the best leagues in the country and has a thriving junior section that are professionally coached and play competitively on several evenings and Sunday mornings.

It is the rugby section who put the spotlight on Cleckheaton Sports Club when the First XV won promotion to the national leagues 3 years ago. Four open age sides play each week and the junior section fields many teams from u7's to u18's.

All three sports are professionally run by a dedicated band of volunteers. The clubhouse, is well appointed and welcoming to all members, guests and supporters.

This lottery scheme has been introduced to finance projects which will benefit the membership of Cleckheaton Sports Club. Please support YOUR club by taking part.
