Papworth Hospital is the UK’s largest specialist cardiothoracic hospital and the country’s main heart and lung transplant centre. Papworth Hospital Charity exists to support all aspects of the hospital’s work, enabling those extra touches of care that are not provided through statutory sources.
The Charity set up a Unity Lottery in July 2009, implementing a marketing plan which included sending a lottery leaflet out with all newsletters, promoting the lottery at events and creating a page with a downloadable form on their website.
The Charity now hopes to expand its lottery membership through the introduction of online payments for supporters.
