Brain Cancer can affect any individual in any family at any time regardless of genetic history or lifestyle. Brain cancer is the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40 in the UK. Our aim is to raise much needed funds to continue vital research to raise the Brain Cancer five year survival rate which is currently 15%.
The Joseph Foote Trust relies on the support of individuals across the country. By joining our lottery scheme you are providing invaluable support to thousands of brain tumour families across the UK.
Currently brain cancer research receives less than 1% of the NHS cancer budget and as a result is dramatically underfunded.
Our principle objectives are to:
1. Fund and promote research into the nature, causes, diagnosis and treatment of brain tumours
2. Provide financial and other support to sufferers of brain tumours and their families.
3. Promote greater public awareness and education relating to brain tumours
