Claire House Children’s Hospice is a home from home for babies, infants, children and young people who have multiple special needs or life limiting/life threatening illnesses from Merseyside, Cheshire, North Wales and the Isle of Man.
It costs over £2.5 million each year to maintain our present levels of care and support to the many children and families who need our services. We rely almost entirely on voluntary donations to fund our work. Very little of our running costs come from statutory sources.
The Claire House Lottery was launched to help provide a vital and regular source of income to provide support to local children and their families and give you the chance to win £25,000 each week!
Children come to Claire House to live life to the full, no matter how severe their disabilities. We have 10 special therapy beds located in bright colourful bedrooms. Our nurses provide one to one care 24 hours a day 7 days a week. There is also accommodation and ample facilities for the whole family if needed. In addition to caring for our children and young adults, we also focus on the needs of the whole family, providing bereavement and other support for as long as it is needed.
Our specialist nursing team also work in the community through our ‘Hospice to Home’ programme which offers paediatric palliative care in the family home
With your support you can help to secure the future for this bright vibrant place of hope to look after our vulnerable children and their families.
Good luck!
