Carers Gloucestershire is an independent charitable organisation that supports Carers. Our services enable Carers to live their lives with confidence and care more effectively. We are here so that no one need face caring alone.
Every year we help thousands of Carers with practical support and guidance. These people didn't ask to be Carers, it's just how their lives panned out.
In Gloucestershire there are over 56,000 people of all ages and backgrounds that provide unpaid acre to a loved one or friend. Since we started, our services have helped over 7,000 Carers with a range of issues from enjoying mental and physical wellbeing, to being treated with dignity, to having a voice which is heard or simply accessing the occasional day off just to be themselves.
All of our services are free, and because of the financial hardship that many Carers face, must remain that way.
As a charity, we need significant support to reach more Carers and expand our life changing services for the people of Gloucestershire.
